How to Fold your Gi (Uniform), the traditional Way
For Years I've been teaching my students the traditional way of folding their Do Bok (Korean for uniform). For the first time I have decided to put it on the internet for others to see.
Start by placing your Do Bok flat on the ground or flat surface.

2. Fold the sleves to math the trunk of the top as shown.

3. Now fold 1/3 of the top inward.

4. Fold the other 1/3 to slightly overlap the first third folded.

5. Fold the crotch area of the pants inward.

6. You will be folding your pants in 3 parts. Fold the first 1/3 of the pants from the bottom up.

7. Fold the first 1/3 on to the rest of the pants. Your Do Bok Pants should be folded in 3 parts as shown.

8. Once your pants and top are folded, fold a small section of the bottom of your Do Bok as show. This last fold may vary in lenght depending on teh size of the Do Bok.

9. Place the folded pants in top of you Do Bok to match the very top / neck area.

10. Finally fold the bottom part of the top to cover the pants. You then will utilize your belt to secure it all in place.

Final Product.
Have a safe Training day!
