The Street Smart Self Defense System
-After 22 years of ChangMooKwan, I have shed my black belt for a new journey. A journey in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. I have in a sense emptied my cup in anticipation of a new beginning.
The "Street Smart system" was developed by Instructor Alex Paredes to encourage, guide and facilitate the success of many inner city youth unable to attend traditional and commercial training centers.
The "Street Smart" Program encompasses traditional ways of the martial arts combined with street experience from a law enforcement standpoint. The Program also has an emphasis on academics, outstanding citizenship and leadership. Street Smart started at World of Difference private school and called the Uplands YMCA home for over 4 years. On it's third year at the Redlands Community Center, we are honored to have the support of the Redlands Police Department and the community. Thank you.
